MOORHEAD — Minnesota State University Moorhead will award degrees to about 485 students during its fall commencement program Thursday, Dec. 14 in the university's Nemzek Fieldhouse.

The following local students are expected to receive their degrees during the ceremony: Elizabeth Anderson, Frazee, Bachelor of Science; Randi Lenius, Detroit Lakes, Bachelor of Arts; Jane VonRuden, Frazee, Bachelor of Nursing; and Joshua Fuller, Moorhead (a graduate of Lake Park-Audubon High School), Bachelor of Science.

The 1 p.m. ceremony also includes nearly 120 graduate students.

Alumnus Mark Knutson, with degrees in Business Administration and Finance, will be the commencement speaker. Knutson's work background includes positions in finance, business management/ownership, and mergers and acquisitions. However, his true passion is fitness and endurance sports.
