Brief: Clem joins Diamond Willow
Tonya Clem will be joining Diamond Willow Assisted Living staff on Monday as the RN director.
Clem grew up in the Detroit Lakes area and attended school in Audubon.
After attending Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Detroit Lakes for her LPN degree, she went on to Fergus Falls Community College to become a Registered Nurse.
Prior to her appointment at Diamond Willow, Clem was the director of nursing at the Mahnomen Health Center.
In 2007, Clem received a leadership award from the Minnesota Health and Housing Alliance.
She and her husband have lived in Detroit Lakes for 15 years, and have three children.
To welcome Clem, Diamond Willow Assisted Living is hosting an after-church backyard barbecue on June 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The barbecue is free to the public.
