Online M State instructors receive quality training
Eight Minnesota State Community and Technical College instructors recently completed a Quality Matters training workshop designed to improve the quality of online education.
Jennifer Beyer, Jeff Bry, Eric Daeuber, Joanna Jesser, Peggy Johnson, Ann Schwalboski, Diane Stenerson and Loren Synstelien attended the session, held May 16 and 17 in the Twin Cities. All eight teach online courses through M State's eCampus.
The workshop provided faculty members with tools to enhance the quality of online courses and encouraged the sharing of innovative practices in online learning.
In addition to eCampus courses, Beyer, Bry, Daeuber and Johnson teach on M State's Moorhead campus; Jesser and Stenerson teach on the Detroit Lakes campus; and Schwalboski and Synstelien teach on the Fergus Falls campus.
The training promotes quality and continuous improvement for colleges and universities that deliver courses and programs online. M State offers 25 degree programs and more than 300 courses online through eCampus.
