RRV Hospice grows, adds Dr. Lisa Henry

Hospice of the Red River Valley has expanded its team of doctors with the addition of Dr. Lisa Henry.

Together with medical director Dr. Tricia Langlois and nurse practitioner Jennifer Johnson, Henry will ensure that patients and their loved ones in 29 counties of North Dakota and Minnesota receive patient-centered, high-quality care.

“The expansion of our medical team has been a dream of ours for quite some time.  For patients, it means that they’ll be receiving more one-on-one care from our doctors and nurse practitioner,” Rebecca Svaleson, RN, director of operations said.

Henry received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Dakota and her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

She is board certified in internal medicine. Henry was most recently a medical director with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota.  Prior to that, she served as associate chief of medicine with the Fargo VA Health Care System.

Langlois has been with Hospice of the Red River Valley for two years. She obtained her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and is board certified in internal medicine; geriatric medicine; and hospice and palliative care medicine.

Johnson has been with the organization for one year.  She obtained her master of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner degree from University of Mary, Bismarck.
