BTD Manufacturing receives grant
The Department of Employment and Economic Development's Minnesota Job Skills Partnership (MJSP) announced a $192,000 grant to support required training in continuous improvement for employees of five Minnesota manufacturing companies.
The five companies participating in the two-year training collaboration are Consolidated Precision Products, BTD Manufacturing, Donnelly Custom Manufacturing, Anderson Fabrics and Dee, Inc. The collaboration also includes the MJSP and grantee Enterprise Minnesota.
"This training will enable line leaders, supervisors and managers at the participating manufacturing companies to expand productivity and capacity," said DEED Commissioner and MJSP Board Chair Dan McElroy. "In addition, Enterprise Minnesota will acquire the ability to give the continuous improvement companion series training to other Minnesota companies."
