Marco expands in Twin Cities area locations
Marco expanded its Twin Cities operations this month when it moved into a new 15,000-square-foot facility in St. Louis Park. The office is the first in a series of company-wide expansions and makeovers.
Other Marco locations, including the headquarters in St. Cloud, will be expanding in the near future as part of an initiative to update and improve several offices. Marco expects to complete the 75,000-square-foot expansion of their St. Cloud headquarters office by early 2012.
Marco's St. Louis Park office, developed by Real Estate Recycling, is centrally located at 7003 Lake Street West.
Real Estate Recycling, based in Minneapolis, transformed the once polluted industrial site into the new, modern Highway 7 Corporate Center. The firm has already won a series of awards for the project including the 2007 Business Journal Best in Real Estate Award, the 2008 NAOIP Award of Excellence and the 2009 Economic Development Associate of Minnesota Redevelopment Award.
"This new office will allow us to continue to meet the technology needs of business, schools and other organizations in the Twin Cities," Marco CEO Jeff Gau said.
The new office opens as Marco continues their expansion in the Twin Cities and other Midwestern markets it serves. The 100 percent employee owned company distributed $2.3 million in stock benefits to its 350 employees last year. Production print, managed services, enterprise clients, and acquisitions will continue to drive Marco's double digit growth.
Marco currently has offices throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa.
