New leader emerges at Essentia Health
Starting March 17, Timothy P. Sayler will be the new chief operating officer for Essentia Health’s West Region, overseeing facilities in North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota.
He will work closely with Dr. Greg Glasner, president and chief medical officer of Essentia’s West Region. “Tim is an experienced healthcare leader,” said Glasner. “I look forward to working with him to shape strategy and clinical program development to further strengthen Essentia Health as a premier, integrated healthcare system.”
Most recently Sayler served as chief executive officer/president of the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho. Before that, he served as chief operating officer of Altru Health System in Grand Forks.
His success at these organizations illustrates the skills and talents he brings to Essentia, Dr. Glasner says. “While at Altru, he helped the healthcare system achieve its vision for organizational excellence.” Sayler has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Colorado in Denver.
He and his wife, Lori, have four children ranging in age from 13 to 21 years.
