Daggett trucker earns two million mile award

Harvey Kern, a truck driver with Daggett Truck Line, was recently given an award for driving two million miles without an accident.

Daggett's insurance company, Great West Casualty, presented the award to Kern who began at Daggett Truck Line in March 1997. He is a 20-year veteran of the company and has accumulated over 2.7 million miles since starting his driving career at Daggett Truck Line.

"Harvey is a fantastic senior driver and his attention to customer service and safe-minded driving makes him a great value to our company," read a press release from Daggett Safety Director Scott Boyer. "We're proud of Harvey's accomplishments here and thank him for all of his hard work. Great Job, Harvey!"
