Detroit Lakes Eagles Aerie and Auxiliary Unit 2342 recently elected new officers for 2018-19.

The new Eagles Aerie officers are Grand Worthy Conductor Tom Schroeder, Larry Swiers, Stormy Jacobson, Worthy President Joe Gjerde, Brian Beto, Sean Scheiben, Earl Skogen, Gordy Martinson, Bob Lee, Mark Gordon, Dave Hochhalter and Ardean Anderson.

The new Eagles Auxiliary officers are Kim Vaughn, Jean Clark, Mary Lee, Diane Schjerheim, Linda McCaslin, Judy Splonskowski, Cylinda Scheiben, Madam President Audrey Kuehl, Betty Hochhalter and Terri Anderson.

The local Eagles Auxiliary is also preparing for a visit from the national Eagles Auxiliary Grand Madam, Althea Lane of Folsom, Calif., on Saturday, Aug. 11. She plans to enjoy an afternoon pontoon ride, a visit to the Detroit Lakes Eagles Club, celebration dinner, and evening entertainment featuring karaoke and a special appearance from Elvis.
