All the goblins and ghouls are preparing for their annual "fright night" festivities.

Include your library in the Halloween fun by scooping up on Halloween related books and movies like those highlighted below.

The staff at Detroit Lakes Library would like to wish you all a safe and happy Halloween!

"How To Draw a Happy Witch and 99 Things that Go Bump in the Night," by Joy Sikorski and Nick Sunday.

Bigger, better, and flexi-bound: Joy Sikorski and Nick Sunday have a new and improved format for their fun follow-up to "How to Draw a Sailing Cat."

Young readers will embark on an imaginative (and not too spooky) Halloween adventure with Little Man, a bold and curious cat, as he slips through the woods to a wonderful party for costumed trick-or-

treaters. Lively pastel-and-pencil illustrations demonstrate how to draw more than 100 things encountered on the journey..

"Scared Shrekless," DVD by Dreamworks Animated.

Halloween is Shrek's favorite holiday -- but instead of the usual tricks or treats, Shrek ups the ante and challenges the gang to spend the night telling scary stories. The last one to be scared Shrekless wins.

"Scared Shrekless" features the voices of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas. The DVD includes a Shrek-ed out parody of Michael Jackson's epic music video "Thriller."
