2 nabbed in McIntosh window shootings

Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with a series of BB-gun shootings that damaged windows in several buildings in McIntosh, Minn., over the weekend.

Polk County Sheriff’s Department initially responded to a call at 6:52 p.m. Sunday in which a residential window had been broken. Upon investigation, investigators discovered what appeared to be a pellet from a BB gun.

The following day, the office received reports of several other windows being damaged in houses and businesses. The sheriff’s department said windows in at least six buildings have been damaged, with total damage totaling more than $1,500.

A BB gun believed to have been used in the incidents has been confiscated and the information has been forwarded to the Polk County Attorney’s office for potential charges, according to the report.
