Abigail Fingalson

Abigail Grace was born to Blake and Connie (Hankiewicz) Fingalson on Jan. 16, 2007 at St. Mary's Innovis Health of Detroit Lakes. Abbie was mom and dad's little princess. She loved to sing and dance, often wearing her "princess"-like dresses and shoes along with her crown and boa. She loved having mom apply her lipstick and nail polish. Abbie also enjoyed dancing and singing with her father, she was daddy's girl; she loved to color and paint anything artistic.

Abigail will be remembered and deeply missed by her parents, Blake and Connie Fingalson of Detroit Lakes; grandparents, Bonnie and Jerry Skov of Strawberry Lake, Shelly Fingalson of Richwood, Jerome and Corinne Fingalson of Richwood and Ted Hankiewicz of Hastings, Minn.; as well as several aunts and uncles.

Preceding her in death were her paternal great grandparents, James and Ardith Fingalson; great grandfather, Donovan Thompson; uncle, Blair Fingalson; and aunt, Brittany Fingalson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, at the David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, followed by a 7 p.m. prayer service.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28 at the Strawberry Lake Mennonite Church in rural Ogema, with the Rev. Delmar Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the Strawberry Lake Mennonite Cemetery.
