Accused Frazee burglar appears in court
The rural Frazee man who was arrested Monday in connection with a home burglary made his first appearance Aug. 4 in Becker County District Court.
Anthony James Block, 21, of 36719 County Road 120, Frazee, has been charged with one felony count of second degree burglary.
The charge stems from a reported break-in at a Frazee home on Monday around 6 p.m.
The homeowner was returning to her residence when she saw a man leave the house and take off on an ATV. She then followed him, while notifying the sheriff's office, some distance away.
Upon arrival, officers were able to locate the ATV and after some time located the suspect with a 32-inch flat screen television taken from the home.
Block has been taken into custody at the Becker County Jail pending his next court appearance on Aug. 16. His bail has been set at $50,000 without conditions, or $20,000 with conditions.
