Air traffic at Fargo's airport remain mixed as most Chicago and Denver flights are canceled
FARGO - Some flights at Fargo's Hector International Airport have been canceled.
Currently, most of today's flights from Chicago and Denver have been canceled. Other flights from Minneapolis, Phoenix-Mesa and Los Angeles are currently still scheduled to arrive. The American Eagle flight 4080 from Chicago to Fargo remains scheduled to arrive at Hector.
Likewise, departing flights to Chicago and Denver have been canceled with the exception of a noon flight to Chicago's O'Hare Airport. American Eagle flight 3997 is still slated to leave Fargo.
Departing flights to other cities also are still posted as leaving on time.
Calls to the airport's administrative office went unanswered this morning.
Police and emergency responders are reporting difficult traffic for vehicles in the vicinity of the airport as visibility due to blowing snow makes travel difficult.
