Akeley man still at large, believed to be driving a plum colored Saturn
A Hubbard County man is still at large one week after a shooting incident in Akeley.
Joshua Wayne Herdina, 35, left the area after allegedly firing off numerous pistol shots at a man who had come on to his father's rural Akeley property May 21.
One shot pierced the man's car windshield and embedded in the dashboard.
Assault charges are pending against Herdina.
He is driving a 2001 plum colored Plymouth Saturn with Minnesota license plates MZH 702.
Sheriff Frank Homer said Herdina has "taken off on us before and left the area for an extended period of time."
Herdina has an extensive criminal record including convictions for DWI, fleeing, assault and making terroristic threats.
