Alesia Kaye Heddinger, 43, a member of the White Earth Band of Ojibway, journeyed to the spirit world on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Immanuel Saint Joseph Hospital in Mankato, Minn.
Alesia was born the daughter of James D. Heddinger and Gloria Rabideau on July 17, 1967 in Hennepin County.
Surviving her are a daughter, Alaena Dubak of Mankato; sons Christian Dubak of Milaca, Minn., and Dakota Magney of St. Cloud; her mother, Gloria N. (Keith) Homstad of Milaca; a nephew, Brett Cody Moyer; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her sisters, Kimberlee S. Rabideau and April N. Geyer; grandparents, Herman and Louise Rabideau; and uncles, Gordon Rabideau and Orville Bower.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minn., continuing for one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6 at Rice Lake Fellowship Church, with Reverend Tim Brown officiating. Interment will be in Pine Bend Cemetery.
Honorary casket bearers will be Mandy Rabideau, Brett Moyer, Linda Stevens, Christian Dubak, Misty Littlewolf and Debbie Stevens.
Casket bearers will be Dave Stevens, Sam Rabideau, Allan Rabideau, Donald Rabideau, Donald Stevens and Jimmy Hill.
