Alexandria man dies in motorcycle crash
ALEXANDRIA - A 22-year-old Alexandria man died in a motorcycle crash in south Alexandria this weekend.
Dustin Lee Johnson, previously of Lake Lillian, was driving a 2004 Victory motorcycle shortly before 6:30 a.m. today, Friday, when he lost control on a curve on Minnesota Street, according to the Alexandria Police Department.
The motorcycle left the road and struck a fire hydrant. Johnson was thrown off the cycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police department is continuing to investigate the crash.
