Allan Larson

Allan Larson

Dec. 21, 1967-May 3, 2013

Allan B. Larson, 45, beloved husband of Cinda Larson (nee Nyberg); loving father of Nicholas and Paige Larson; brother of Elizabeth (the late Mitch) Steckler; son-in-law of Ethel and Lance Nyberg; brother-in-law of Rebecca Nyberg, Melanie (TJ) Edwards and Erica (Don) Cooper; nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to many, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 in Innsbrook, Mo.

Allan loved his family dearly and was a devoted husband to Cinda and excellent father to Nick and Paige. He enjoyed getting away on family vacations, whether to the lake or on a cruise or to Minnesota to visit relatives and friends.

Allan had many hobbies, but his favorites were always outdoors - whether it was mowing the lawn, golfing, attending a Cardinals baseball game or relaxing at the lake while watching his dogs, Bella and Echo, run around.

Allan was always generous with his time, willing to help anyone with anything. He had a way of bringing people together and always knew how to have a good time, especially with his neighbors.

Allan was a dedicated professional, a man of many talents, with many passions. He excelled in his chosen field at Clifton-Larson-Allen (CLA), but all who knew him would say he truly excelled in life - a life filled with a family he loved, friends he cherished and work that fulfilled his perfectionist nature.

In today's culture of moving up and moving on, Allan remained a "company man" for 23 years and because he cared so deeply about that part of his life, CLA was a natural extension of his family.

Allan was a very bright light in this world for so many people and sadly that light has gone dark unexpectedly and all too soon. Allan will be remembered for his smile, his dedication, his loyalty, his spirited nature and for the overall joy he brought to everyone who knew him.

Preceding Allan in death were his parents, Rollie Larson and Elsie Larson; and brother-in-law, Mitch Steckler.
