Angels break losing streak

The Detroit Lakes Angels evened their season record at 3-3 with a 10-5 win over the Fargo Mets last Wednesday at Washington Ballpark.

Nick Polejewski picked up the win, allowing four runs through 5.1 innings of work.

The Angels scored two in the first, as Phil Kirchner picked the RBI by singling in Chris Gilson.

A Doug Dickey single scored Kirchner.

In the third inning, Reed Oistad hit a two-run homer to give the Angels a four-run lead.

The Mets cut the score to 6-4, before the Angels would put the game out of reach with a four-run seventh inning.

Kirchner went 3-5, while Gilson, Dickey, Oistad, Bryan Buhr and Ryan Berg all had two hits for the Angels.

Cody Hughes took the loss for the Mets.
