Anna M. Levy, 33, of Ogema, died Friday, November 19, 2010 as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident near Waubun.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26 until 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27 at the White Earth Community Center in White Earth.

Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Columba Episcopal Church in White Earth, with Reverend Coke Smith officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Anna Marie Levy was born to Selim "Deet" Keezer and Sandra Levy on July 31, 1977 in Detroit Lakes. She was raised in White Earth and attended Waubun Public Schools. She worked at Golden Eagle Bingo for 10 years and did PCA work for three years. At the time of her death, she was a cashier for M & W Convenience Store in White Earth.

Anna loved life, playing softball, hunting, leeching, harvesting rice, canoe racing and dressing for Halloween. She was helpful to many people and her house was always open to those who needed it.

Survivors include her companion, Paul Person Sr.; a daughter, Cassandra Hanks and two sons, Austin Burnette and Dylan Burnette, all of White Earth; seven grandchildren, Shaylynn Bevins, Curtis, Peyton, Haley, Demetrius, Jeremy and Richard Person, Jr.; her mother, Sandra Levy (David "Pops" Axdahl) of White Earth; eight brothers, George Axdahl of Moose Lake, Minn., Francis Axdahl and Duane (Deanna Keezer) Axdahl, both of White Earth, Samuel (Page Lotka) of Waubun, Aaron Keezer of Ogema, Salim "Sonny" Wadena of Naytahwaush, David (Bianca) Axdahl of Wagner, S.D., and Dillon Smith of Lino Lakes, Minn.; seven sisters, Lolly Johnson of Waubun, Stacey Wadena of Naytahwaush, Mitsy Anderson of Detroit Lakes, Jennifer Anderson of Minneapolis, DeAnna Keezer Axdahl of White Earth, Tura (Claudio) Tapia and Starla Raymond, both of Columbus, Neb.

Preceding her in death were her father, Selim "Deet" Keezer; grandparents, Merceline and Edward Levy and Lorraine and Selim Keezer; a brother, Selim "Manny" Wadena; and special friends James Hanks, Michael Dakota and Nikki Lynn Heisler.
