Anna M. Melby, 93, of Detroit Lakes, died peacefully in her home on Friday, March 13, 2009, surrounded by her loved ones.
Anna Mae Thorpe was born to Andrew and Patrina (Berg) Thorpe on Feb. 7, 1916 in Callaway. She was raised in the Callaway area and attended school at District 44 in Hamden Township.
