Annual 'Girls Night Out' set
If the long winter has got you ladies feeling a little cooped up, come out to the fifth annual "Girls' Night Out" in Lake Park.
This year it will be held Friday, March 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the American Legion.
Each year some new vendors are added, but some of the regulars are coming back. Returning this year is one a favorite, Amon Baer of Baer's Cellars. He will be offering samples, giving the gals a chance to taste their wines.
Other vendors that are certain to tempt the taste buds include Tastefully Simple. Attendees will get a chance to sample some of the new treats being offered for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. Sarah's Sweets will be there with an array of homemade cookies, including the famous Aunt Sally's and Monster Cookies.
Something new this year is Coffee-Doodle-Doo, which coffee lovers will want to check out for a new line of fresh roasted gourmet coffees and gifts. Shoppers can also check out the new items in the line of purses, totes and other fashionable and trendy things from Thirty One. A Lia Sophia representative will be on hand displaying their line of jewelry. There will also be the eclectic personal designs of a local artist creating handmade vintage silverware bracelets.
New this year is Scentsy candles, which have received rave reviews. A local vendor will have her catalogs showing many creative ideas for decorating with Uppercase Living. She will also be displaying some of her creative work with this line of lettering and decals.
Those looking to sample, touch or smell any of the new products on the market from Mary Kay or Arbonne will be able to do just that. Check out the bath and body products homemade by one of the locals.
Plans are still in the works, which means more vendors may be added. Soup and sandwich will also be available for purchase that evening. Be sure to grab your girlfriends and come out for an evening of shopping, sipping, sampling and socializing.
