ATV Club to attempt record

Woods and Wheels ATV Club and the All Terrain Vehicle Association of Minnesota will attempt a second time to break the world record for the longest ATV parade after a very narrow miss in 2008.

Woods and Wheels ATV Club is recruiting ATV enthusiasts to join them in an attempt to break the world record for the longest ATV parade in history. The record breaking will take place on June 13 in Silver Bay, Minn.

ATVAM, with help from local clubs all across the state of Minnesota, is attempting to break the current record of 1,138 ATVs held by the state of Kentucky.

Since the announcement was made at the 2008 ATVAM Fall Convention in September, resort and motel owners in the area have stated that many ÅTV enthusiasts have already booked rooms for the ATV parade. A full list of motels and campgrounds in the area can be found at

To register for the parade, visit the Web site or call ATVAM at (800) 442-8826. The pre-registration fee is $13 per ATV.
