Bail set at $200,000 in sex case
Bail has been set at $200,000 for a man accused of felony first-degree and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
According to court records:
Steven Douglas Flowers, 52, of 1010 North Main, Apt. 19. Thief River Falls, allegedly sexually touched a girl under the age of 12 in 2008 while he was living in Ogema.
He allegedly penetrated her with a finger while she was in bed and asked her if it "felt good." She was able to get away and leave the room.
He admitted touching the girl, but said it was unintentional.
He appeared before District Judge Joe Evans on Friday, who set bail at $200,000, with conditions that include no contact with the girl or unsupervised contact with minors, and set his next court date for May 26.
