Beavers sweep Dragons in NSIC softball doubleheader

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Minot State took both games of a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference softball doubleheader from Minnesota State Moorhead on Thursday.

MSUM’s lone run in Game 1 came from a home run by Brittany York. The Dragons lost 4-1.

Tiffany Friesen and Melissa Bell each homered in Game 2 as the Beavers (27-5) won 9-1 in five innings.
