A belated wish for Mother's Day
Due to unforeseen circumstances (mainly my e-mail or my own incompetence) this column was unfortunately for last week and it is a belated Happy Mother's Day.
"My mom is a never-ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune." ~ Graycie Harmon.
Today is the day that the people who go the most under appreciated in the world finally get the recognition they so very much deserve.
Mother, madre, mama, mere, mutter, m?e, ????, and simplest of all, mom. All of the mothers in the world, today is all yours, this day is for you to kick back, relax and just enjoy some service for a change from your loved ones.
We will do all your chores (although maybe not quite up to your expertise or precision, but we will indeed try!), and we will do our best to make you more comfortable. I just would like to let all the mothers out there know what you do for us means so much and it is such a phenomenal and selfless thing you do and we love you greatly for it.
We may pout, yell, swear, stammer and be the biggest selfish brats imaginable, however, we still love you unconditionally. We may loose sight of your greatness and your self-sacrificing ways and may hurt you, but I assure you we do not mean to bring tears to your kind and loving eyes. We are just stupid people at times and I apologize for that.
We all are greatly influenced by our mothers. She remains a great source of inspiration for all of us throughout our lives. Her power and charisma can't be matched by any other force on this earth.
Mother's greatness and her sense of self-sacrifice have inspired people, from time to time, to ink their feelings and emotions, in a number of ways. In this section of Mother's day quotes, we are compiling some intense, heartfelt, humorous and funny quotes about moms. After all, mothers not only inspire and make us good human beings but also bring smiles to our faces.
My mother is one of the most kind, caring and compassionate people on this earth. She is forever serving others before she serves herself. She is constantly looking at everybody's personal opinion and is careful to offend no one.
She is the constant mediator and a wonderful and great person, and I love her dearly, and unconditionally for everything she has done for me. My mother has given me more support than any person on this earth.
I know, Mom, I loose face of that at times, but I promise you no matter what is said, you mean the world to me. You will forever be a role model, inspiration and a personal hero for me.
Mom, I would like to take this opportunity to say happy Mother's Day and I love you more than any words could ever express. Thank you mom, thank you grandma, and thank you every mother out there for being the sweetest people on earth.
