The trip north to Bemidji was an unfruitful one for the Detroit Lakes girls' hockey team, which lost to the Lumberjacks 7-1 Thursday.
Bemidji went on a seven-goal tear in the second and third periods, after playing a scoreless first period with the Lakers (1-12).
The Lumberjacks (3-5-4) scored six unanswered goals, after DL junior forward Sydney Haman notched a power play goal to tie the score 1-1.
