Have you ever found yourself wondering whatever happened to Fonzie, Richie and the rest of the "Happy Days" gang?

There will be not just one, but two chances to revisit these beloved TV characters when "The Big Doo Wop Show: Fonzie Returns to Happy Days" comes to Fergus Falls and Detroit Lakes this weekend, April 1-2.

Actors portraying Fonzie, Richie, Potsie and Ralph will share the stage with some of the area's best a cappella singers in this musical revue, which comes to the Fergus Theatre in Fergus Falls on Friday, April 1, and Detroit Lakes' Historic Holmes Theatre on Saturday, April 2.

Both shows start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for all kids under age 12.

Among the performers appearing at this weekend's shows are featured quartets Grand Design and Fallcreek, the lakes area's own Heart O'Lakes Harmony Chorus, as well as the harmony groups Tribute and Note-ified.

"It should be a very entertaining show, with great music, a great cast and a funny script," says Rich Treptow, a member of the Heart O'Lakes Harmony Chorus who is serving as the show's chairman.

"Some of the favorite songs of the '50s will be featured, including "Sh-Boom," "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," "Who Wrote the Book of Love," "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do," "Mary Lou" and many others -- all sung in four-part, a cappella harmony."

For tickets, or further information, please contact A Center for the Arts in Fergus Falls, 218-998-ARTS (2787), or the Historic Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes, 218-844-SHOW (7469).
