Big-shot Spriggs advances to semis

Friday during the quarterfinals of the Mid-Am match play, Spriggs did it again by hitting an eagle from 78 yards out on hole six en route to a 4 and 3 win over Bill Schommer.

"I made a bunch of pars, so it was a good day," Spriggs said. "I was putting well."

Spriggs started the day off with a birdie and made nice putts on three and four. He made birdie on hole five to take a 3-up lead, before his eagle on six.
