‘Bikeable’ workshop to be held Aug. 18; bring bike
PartnerSHIP 4 Health, MnDOT, the Minnesota Department of Health and the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota have organized a free one-day workshop at Detroit Lakes City Hall on Mon-day, Aug. 18.
The “Bikeable Communities Workshop” is designed for professionals who affect and impact planning and implementing facilities for bicycling in communities.
Target audiences include engineers, law enforcement, planners, public health practitioners, school administrators, elected officials and advocates.
The Workshop starts at City Hall at 9 a.m. and includes a free healthy lunch and a bicycle ride. Bring your own bicycle and helmet.
