Billy Joe McDougall, 28, of Callaway, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 near Richwood.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at David Donehower Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes, and one hour prior to services, which are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Strawberry Lake Mennonite Church, rural Ogema, with Delmar Yoder officiating.
Billy Joe McDougall was born to Steven McDougall and Terri Bellanger on October 1, 1982 in Detroit Lakes. He attended Callaway Elementary School and Detroit Lakes Junior and Senior High Schools. Following his education, he worked as an underground construction worker for Sellin Brothers of Hawley.
Billy's pride and joy was his son, Alex. He also enjoyed hanging out with his cousins and restoring old cars, especially muscle cars.
Surviving Billy are his son, Alexander Chilton-McDougall of Richwood; his father and stepmother, Steven and Karlena McDougall of Callaway; his mother, Terri Weber of Tacoma, Wash.; three sisters, Karlye McDougall and Hanna McDougall, both of Callaway, and Jeannie Weber of Tacoma; a brother, Robin Bellanger of Fargo; his grandmothers, Betty McDougall of Detroit Lakes and Sandi Revier of Callaway; and a niece, Nevaeh McDougall-Clark.
