Bison softball splits pair of games against No. 20 Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. – North Dakota State upset No. 20-ranked Nebraska 13-0 in the first game of a softball doubleheader before losing in the second game 11-0 on Wednesday.

Whitney Johnson tossed a complete-game shutout for the Bison (13-13) in Game 1, striking out six. Alyssa Reina had three hits and three RBIs.

In the second game, Tatum Edwards pitched five shutout innings and homered twice for the Huskers (20-6).
