Blane Klemek: Two chapters of the National Audubon Society are in NW MN
Residents and visitors to northwestern Minnesota should know about two Minnesota chapters of the National Audubon Society and the properties that the non-profit local Audubon chapters owns and manages: the Neilson Spearhead Center, located eleven miles southwest of Bemidji, and the Audubon Center of the Red River Valley and Omdahl Arboretum (formerly known as Wetlands, Pines, and Prairie Audubon Sanctuary), located eight miles southeast of Warren.
