Blazer flips, leaves woman trapped in car in Wadena County
A Bertha woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Wadena County on Saturday morning.
Kristi L. Kohlhase, 23, of Bertha suffered non life-threatening injuries in the rollover accident, according to the State Patrol.
About 5:30 a.m. she was westbound on Highway 227 when the 1996 Chevy Blazer she was driving left the roadway, hit an approach and rolled end-for-end, landing in the north ditch on its roof.
She was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extracted. The Wadena County Sheriff's Department, Sebeka Fire Department and Tri County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
The accident occurred on dry two-lane blacktop at mile marker 3 in Wadena County.
