Bond set at $50,000 for man allegedly caught with lots of 'ecstasy' at 10KLF
Blaine Thomas Rathmann, 21, of 1212 Washington Memorial drive, Apartment 118, St. Cloud has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony first-degree controlled substance crime -- possession with intent to sell. He is also charged with felony second-degree controlled substance crime.
According to court records:
On Saturday at Lake Sallie campground during the 10,000 Lakes Festival, a private security operative allegedly observed him engaged in a hand-to-hand drug sale.
Rathmann was detained and deputies were called in. His backpack allegedly contained 82 grams of powder-form ecstasy, 411 gel capsules of ecstasy, 104 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and 50 dosage units of LSD.
There was also allegedly a morphine pill, Valium pills, Zanaz and marijuana, along with $1,168 cash, digital scales and packaging materials.
He appeared Monday before District Judge Joe Evans, who set bail or bond at $50,000 and set his next appearance for Aug. 3.
