It didn’t take long for the Detroit Lakes boys’ basketball team to get reacquainted with the basket inside Ralph Anderson Gym, after they exploded for an 89-53 win over visiting Bemidji Friday night for both teams’ season opener.

In fact, it didn’t take any time for the Lakers to introduce their first scoring barrage of the season, which allowed them to jump to a 14-0 lead to start the game.
