Boys Hockey: Fritz picks up 2 wins from goalie position

Email News Alerts

A 2-0 loss in Kittson Central was sandwiched by a pair of convincing wins for the Detroit Lakes boys’ hockey team, which improves to 9-6-1 on the season.

The goalie position became deeper for the Lakers, as back-up sophomore goalie Austin Fritz picked up a pair of wins over International Falls Friday and Northern Lakes Tuesday.

But DL’s 2-0 loss in Kittson Central (12-3-1) puts the Lakers a step behind in the Section 8-1A standings.
