Brief: Standal elected to MEDA bard of directors
The Minnesota Funeral Directors Association met on May 6 and elected Chuck Standal of West-Kjos Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes to serve on the MFDA Board of Directors.
Standal began his term of service immediately following this year's MFDA Convention, held May 6-8 at the Depot in Minneapolis.
"We thank Chuck for taking on this important and challenging leadership role," said MFDA President Ken Peterson. "He is a dedicated funeral service professional who will help create resources and tools to assist MFDA member Funeral Homes to better meet the evolving needs of the communities and families they serve, and enhance the public's confidence in funeral service."
MFDA is the Minnesota's professional funeral service association, serving over 350 funeral homes from all over Minnesota for over 118 years.
From its headquarters in Maple Grove, MFDA provides advocacy, education, information, products, programs and services to help members enhance the quality of service to families.
