Burglary suspect arrested on Wing Air National Guard airfield

DULUTH -- A 52-year-old Duluth man was arrested Thursday after an alleged burglary and a car and foot chase that led authorities to the 148th Fighter Wing Air National Guard airfield.


The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office said authorities were en route to a residence where a burglary was reported shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday when dispatch put out a request to help locate any suspects.

The suspect reportedly stole the victim’s 2005 Chevy Silverado and several firearms.
