The Historic Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes, kicks off another season of its popular Cabaret Night series with a Next Generation Open Mic Night this Thursday in the Holmes Ballroom (across the hall from the main theater).

From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., anyone who has the urge to share their talent with a local audience and gain a little stage experience in the process is invited to take the stage.

Bleachers will have a cash wine, beer and soft drink bar, and Country Kitchen will provide appetizers for sale. Come late and leave early, or stay for the entire show.

"We encourage every-one from the community to come out and see what's going on," Williams said.
