Car totaled in crash at Lancaster, Minn., port of entry
A minivan was totaled Tuesday morning when it crashed into the concrete barrier at the Lancaster, Minn., port of entry.
John Wasylnuk, 78, Winnipeg, was driving the 2007 Honda Odyssey south from Canada entering Minnesota Highway 59 just after 9 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle veered into the concrete barrier at the port of entry, according to the Minnesota state patrol. The barrier sustained damage, but the state patrol did not release a dollar amount.
Wasylnuk was not injured in the crash. Two other passengers in the vehicle, whose names were not released, also came out of the crash uninjured, according to the state patrol.
