She would often take in family, friends, and help anyone who needed a place to stay or help getting back on their feet. Catherine's family, including her dog, Guido, their lives and well being were her number one priority and she left a lasting impression and influence on all.

More than anything, she liked to follow her grandchildren's extracurricular activities and accomplishments. She was truly a remarkable lady that touched many lives and will be missed dearly by those who had the privilege to know her.

Some of Catherine's other pastimes included watching the Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Timberwolves. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, ricing, golfing, playing cards, and was always up for a good game of bingo. Catherine was a long time member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Waubun.
