Celtic music concert at Top Hat Theatre March 2

Join Top Hat Theatre for their Saturday, March 2 concert with the Celtic band Hounds of Finn.

The Irish and Scottish tunes begin at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available now at the Ulen-Hitterdal School for $15 adults and $10 students or by email to Therese Vogel, tvogel@ulenhitterdal.k12.mn.us or phone to 218-596-8853. Come celebrate with us!

A high-energy Irish musical entity forged from the roots of Celtic and American traditions. based in St. Paul, Minn., the Hounds perform Irish folk-rock and roots music from around the world, along with their own original material ­-- topped off with a sprinkling of traditional Irish and Scottish tunes.

The Hounds have been performing in and around the Minnesota music scene since 2007 and currently have two finished CDs and a DVD. They are now back at it and working on CD No. 3.

The Hounds include four members: Leslie Rich on vocals and rhythm guitar; Pete McCauley on vocals, guitar, and mandolin; Michelle MacGregor on fiddle; and Dave Draeger on bodhran.
