Clay County investigates burglaries in Felton, Hitterdal

MOORHEAD – Clay County deputies are investigating two small town burglaries that happened early this morning.

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the first burglary occurred about 1 a.m. at the Felton County Store in Felton, Minn. Suspects took merchandise and some cash.

The second burglary happened around 2:30 a.m. at the Hitterdal Liquor Store in Hitterdal, Minn.

Deputies said in a news release that it is unclear what was taken from the liquor store. Store surveillance cameras captured images of a lone suspect and the suspect’s vehicle – a Chevrolet pickup with a topper and chrome brush guard.
