Join us all summer long for our concert series Tuesdays in the Park each Tuesday night through August 28 at 7 pm in the DL City Park Bandshell.
There will be free concerts featuring some of the best area talent. Bring your appetite & come early from 6-7 p.m. each Tuesday as Habitat for Humanity holds a freewill picnic dinner.
The outdoor fun continues as the 4th Annual Shakespeare in the Park presents "Romeo & Juliet" June 29-30 and July 1, 6, 7 & 8 in the DL City Park Bandshell.
Frazee native Amber Schwarzrock is teaming up with Kathryn Knuttila to present "Small Town Girl to the Opera Stage" on Thursday, June 14 at 7 pm to share her passion for opera with her hometown crowd.
Keep the fun going and see area students perform Missoula Children's Theatre's "Rumpelstiltskin" on Friday, June 29 at 7 pm & Saturday, June 30 at 10:30 pm. After a week of rehearsing, they'll bring this classic tale to life on stage.
Area students are invited to participate in the weeklong Missoula Children Theatre's workshops June 25-29. We've added additional workshops this year so kids can add to their overall theatre experience that week.
Students are also invited to join in Youth Theatre Camp, Monday- Wednesday, Aug. 22-24, as they present local playwright Carol Anne Hough's "Garden Adventures." This intensive camp teaches ages 6-12 all they need to know (and make!) about the artistry and craft of producing a theatrical show.
The camps don't stop there- we've got additional opportunities to let the creativity flow! From Ceramic & Glass Campto a 2 different Craft Camps with The Glass Lady, kids will really get their creative juices flowing. Complete info in our Summer Program Guide
Your family will have hours of fun in the "Backyard" giant indoor playland. It is the second largest in the state of Minnesota. The DLCCC also has hundreds of pieces of weight equipment, cardio machines, an eight-lane pool, a three-lane running track, two basketball courts, two racquetball courts & a 140 foot waterslide also, plus so much more.

Summer programs for youth and adults are open to both members and non-members.
Afternoon Lessons at the DLCCC start June 4 & continue with sessions through July. Evening Lessons Start June 5. Levels, times and prices vary. Please see Swim Grid in our Summer Program Guide for times and levels available for all swim lesson.
There is a $10 additional charge for registrations received less than 4 days prior to lesson start date

Summer Dive Camp

3rd-5th grade, July 10-26, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
DLCCC Summer Day Camp is in full swing, so if your child wants a day full of activity, from crafts & sports to swimming and gym time, bring them to the DLCCC Monday-Friday, hours between 7:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Session I: June 18-21
Session II: June 25-28
Session III: July 9-12

Free Phil Hansen Football Kids Kamp -- Tuesday, July 24, ages: 5-9, 4-6 p.m., ages: 10-13, 6-8 p.m.
Kids can also go to "The Rec," where a kid can be a kid. From June 11-Aug. 17, there will be summer Rec activities at the City Park. Youth are allowed to come and go as they please. There will also be free Rec special events and crafts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Detroit Lakes Mid-Summer Bike Tour & Kids' Ride -- See the beauty of the lakes area as you choose a 13-, 26- or 43-mile ride on Saturday, July 14. Part of the 76th Annual Jaycees Water Carnival.
17th Annual Dick Beardsley Marathon
The Detroit Lakes Fall Classic will be here in September and we're excited to be joined this year by guest legend Carrie Tollefson. Run with the legends, Saturday, September 8. Run starts at 8:30 a.m.
