Louisiana-born and Texas-raised, Chris Cagle has no short of southern blood running through his veins.
He was discovered while waiting tables and writing music in Nashville, Tennessee, when he met the legendary Country Music Hall of Fame star Harlan Howard, who was among the first to publish one of his songs.
Originally writing album tracks for David Kersh, he released his first album, “Play It Loud,” after signing with Virgin Records Nashville.
Cagle is known for multiple hit singles, such as “I Breath In, I Breathe Out,” “Chicks Dig It,” “Laredo,” “Miss Me Baby,” and “What Kinda Gone.”
He has had success with two consecutive gold albums, and several Billboard chart-toppers throughout his career.
Fans love Cagle’s self-proclaimed redneck, rock-and-roll style, as well as his relatable blue-collar lyrics.
Currently, Cagle is promoting his new album, “Back In the Saddle,” featuring hit songs “Got My Country On” and “Let There Be Cowgirls.”
After a much-needed break relaxing with his family and raising cutting horses in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Cagle has returned to the fast-paced lifestyle of fame and touring.
