Country superstar Gary Allan at Shooting Star
Multi-platinum country music star Gary Allan will perform live on stage at Shooting Star Casino, Hotel & Event Center, located at 777 Casino Road in Mahnomen, this Friday, June 13, at 8 p.m.
Tickets to this event are sold out.
Born and raised in La Mirada, Calif., Allan began his music career at the early age of 12, playing in honky tonks all throughout Southern California with his father’s band.
Shortly after, Allan started his own band, the Honky Tonk Wranglers, and continued to play small shows through high school and into his 20s.
It wasn’t until 1996 when Allan was offered a record deal with Decca Records in Nashville, Tenn.
His first album, “Used Heart for Sale,” was named “Best of the Month” by Sound & Vision (previously known as Stereo Review) and featured the top 10 hit song, “Her Man.”
Three years and two albums later, Decca officially closed its doors, but Allan was quickly signed by MCA Records and released his first platinum album, “Smoke Rings in the Dark.”
Allan’s nine studio albums have garnered 28 hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including his four #1 hits: “Man to Man,” “Tough Little Boys,” “Nothing On but the Radio,” and “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain).”
