County DFL caucuses Feb. 4 in Audubon

The Becker County Democrats will hold precinct caucuses for all of Becker County, with the exception of Toad Lake Township at Lake Park-Audubon Elementary School in Audubon on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Precinct caucuses are open to the public but in order to vote, offer resolutions or become a delegate, attendees must be eligible to vote in the next general election, live in the precinct and be in general agreement with the principles of the Democratic Party.

Mayor Aaron Lee Wittnebel, current Chairman of the Becker County Democrats said precinct caucuses, “Are the first step in the Minnesota Election cycle, and allow for neighbor to neighbor discussions within each political party. It is a time to regroup and refocus our compassion for making the state and country a better place through the political process.”

A Central Committee meeting will take place in preparation of caucuses at 5:30 p.m, registration will open at 6 p.m. and caucuses will commence promptly at 7 p.m.

Attendees should enter from the East side of the Elementary School near the Gymnasium Lobby. Anyone in need of a ride to or from Precinct Caucuses, or willing to drive others should call (218) 209-2320 by February 1st.
