Couple accused of drinking and gambling in bar while kids waited outside in van
Police arrested a Glyndon couple late Sunday after they allegedly left four children in a van while drinking and gambling inside a downtown Fargo bar.
Melanie Moseby, 29, and her 28-year-old husband, Shelton Moseby, were arrested on suspicion of child neglect, Sgt. Ross Renner said.
The children, ages 8, 9, 11 and 12, were left alone in the van for about two hours while the couple was in the Bismarck Tavern at 522 Broadway, Renner said.
Cass County Social Services was contacted, and the children were turned over to a relative, he said.
