Court justices could decide amendment ballot wording
Six Minnesota Supreme Court justices will decide who has the power to create titles for proposed constitutional amendments.
And it may be them.
Some justices suggested during a Tuesday hearing that a potential solution to the question would be to order the entire amendments printed on the ballot, eliminating disputes about whether titles or summaries are accurate. Lawyers for both sides said that was possible.
